Music has always been an expressive outlet of mine since I was a kid. It has the ability to transform my emotions and take me to places where I cant physically go. I love music because it’s not a simple concept, it’s a complex art form that allows individuals to use full creativity without holding back. Not everyone is blessed with a great singing voice or the ability to make music, but everyone has the opportunity to work around music and contribute to the creative process that makes music what it is.
I plan to collect original material by utilizing my Lumix GH5 to capture high quality photos, videos, and audio segments. Some ideas I have include interviewing upcoming musical artist that attend Kent State University. I also plan to link my website with a social media page so future readers can have the opportunity to reach out and engage on other platforms. Lastly I plan to create content that has the ability to promote artist to viewers that see my website. I have so many ideas for this website its hard to narrow down what exactly I want to do. I want my content to be original and allow engagement and interactions with viewers and local artist.
After finishing this semester I hope to have a fully functioning website that I can use to grow my own brand and company. I have been looking forward to taking a class like this because I can now start putting pieces together to help build my career in the music industry that i’ve always dreamed of. In the future I want to be able to continue to grow my brand and company using this website and what I learned in class.
