Draft Audio Story

For this draft audio story, I decided to interview my self and my Uncle about our overall experience attending a live music performance. My goal was to show either a comparison or a contrasting experience. Each perspective can differ in a variety of ways which isn’t necessary a bad thing. The thing about live performances is that people for different reasons, and enjoy different types of experience the performance officers. For example, whereas one individual might let getting it the “pit” others may enjoy staying in the back while sitting on lawn chairs. Live music performances give a wide array of attractions that are each individually unique, which in return brings people from all over for the experience they choose to be apart of.

The importance of asking the first question (Do you remember you the first time you attended a live concert performance?) was to spark nostalgia and have the individuals think about what parts of their first concert stood out the most. Typically people tend remember specific things by what stood out to them, or what they thought was the most unique/memorable part. Each questions I asked encouraged the interviewee to think critically about their experiences at live performances as a whole.

Final Video

In this short final video, my audience will gain further insights on what StageTour is, and future plans I have for my brand. As mentioned in the video, StageTour is all about connecting people to music and bringing the experience of live music performances to them whatever they may be in the world. Not everybody is fortunate enough to attend their favorite artist perform live, so why not create a space that is able to bring that performance to their homes. I have been working on building this brand up for about a year and I enjoy every minute of it. One day I hope to be able to own a team of videographers and photographers that help better this experience and improve the quality of work I put out. Along with a team, I plan to create a YouTube channel for the purpose of attending performances and documenting the experience as a whole. Be sure to stay tune with StageTour and look out for future content coming soon. Thank you for your support and be sure to continue living it up.

For this final product I could not base my edits my revisions off of reviews because I have not received any yet. I decided keep my original video footage and make small technical corrections here and there. For example I made a few color corrections to give my over all video a better quality look. I also added in some example logos such as Rolling Loud and Coachella to give my audience a better understanding of what I was referring to. Along with logos I added an instagram icon to add more context to my story as well. The last technical correction I made was creating a fade towards the end of my video as it fades back into my logo. I also created a fade so the music plays louder as my large logo is shown, and a fade where the music ends at the very end of my video.

Final Graphic Collage

I chose to not to change anything about my graphic collage because I felt that I created what I originally envisioned. The creative process still remains the same for this blog post. I wanted to keep it simple with only three images to balance the collage out and keep it from looking too cluttered. I also feel that my collage looks good with the two blended images and the main image of Las Vegas as is. Changing the layout and order of the images could potentially damage the over all look of the collage. Having to change the opacity and blend modes where not necessary because each image was well thought out and embedded well. Also I received a great score on my draft so I figured I put in enough effort to keep it the same for my final version. Ultimately I feel that making changes to my graphic collage would chop and screw my original design idea. Fortunately for me, I was lucky enough to hit the hammer on the nail during my first go around.

The main image that you see is a picture that I took while I was in Las Vegas. I chose this picture because of the palm trees and the overall aesthetic it gives to the audience. I wanted to use an image that included palm trees because when I think of the music industry I think of Hollywood. One part of music is about feeling emotions and moods so I wanted this picture to give off a high life aesthetic. I placed both images on the skyline because it represents how people look up to celebrities and artist that make music. Also, this image represents the common dream many musical artists have to move out into the hills of a beautiful city and make music. Ultimately this image represents the way of life many artists peruse on their way of achieving fame and fortune.
